Galih Sitompul
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇩 Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia
- 1994 to 2015
- English, Indonesian
I've worked in pottery from 1994 to 2015. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 840 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 12 years later for another job.
More about Galih
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Galih: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
