I've been a nurse for 40 years, most of them in intensive care at Frangipani Community Hospital in Bogor. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
I like to keep things simple and honest. Small things matter when someone is frightened.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
