I'm a writer in Newcastle upon Tyne. Fiction is my first love and investigative reporting is my second.
I write best early in the morning with a pot of tea. I sing in a choir.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my pieces still make me wince. Some, I'm proud of.
What gifts mean to Gabriella: I'd put a gift toward a research trip.
