Gabriela Vasconcelos
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇷 Vitória da Conquista, Bahia, Brazil
- Vitória da Conquista Shop
- 1998 to 2010
- English, Portuguese
I've worked in thatching from 1998 to 2010. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 460 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
