Gabriela Tavares
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇷 Guarulhos, São Paulo, Brazil
- Old Phoenix Repairs
- 1979 to 1991
- Portuguese
I'm a blacksmithing specialist. If you live around Guarulhos, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 19 years later for another job.
More about Gabriela
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Gabriela: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.

You fixed our roof in 1983 and charged half what others asked. Thank you again.
