Gabriela T. Urbina
Design and technology and Spanish teacher, Tlaquepaque
- 🇲🇽 Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico
- Tlaquepaque Grammar School
- 2001 to 2024

For 23 years I was the design and technology teacher at Tlaquepaque Grammar School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,060 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Gabriela
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Gabriela: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
