I work mostly in glass art, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 1995 at Baobab Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by my grandmother's kitchen. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Gabriela
I've had 4 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Gabriela: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
