Gabriela K. Chávez
Self-taught mural painting artist
- 🇲🇽 Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico
- Tijuana Art Collective
- Since 2002
- English, Spanish
I got into mural painting as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day.
Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Gabriela
I've had 12 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Gabriela: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
