Gabriela J. Gómez
Teacher at Laredo Secondary School, loves religious studies

- English, Spanish
I taught religious studies at Laredo Secondary School in Laredo from 1993 to 2003. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 570 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Gabriela
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Gabriela: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
