Gabriela Edilene Melo

Retired mathematics teacher from Rio de Janeiro Public School

  • 🇧🇷 Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
  • Rio de Janeiro Public School
  • 2016 to 2025
  • Portuguese, English
I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.

More about Gabriela

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
