I coached cricket at Acacia Youth Club from 2002 to 2015. Most of my players were between 10 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Gabriel
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Gabriel: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
