Gabriel H. Hawkins

Chemistry and art teacher, Lafayette

🇺🇸 Lafayette, Louisiana, United States
Pioneer Girls' School
Since 2013
English

I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 13 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

More about Gabriel

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Gabriel: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
