Furkan Karakaya
Sitar player and teacher in Üsküdar
- 🇹🇷 Üsküdar, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Üsküdar Kingsway Music School
- 2003 to 2016
- English
I've played sitar from 2003 to 2016, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I like to keep things simple and honest.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Furkan
If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.
What gifts mean to Furkan: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
