Funmilayo Zainab Oladipo
Painter, potter and teacher at Epe Pottery
- 🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, Nigeria
- Epe Pottery
- 1980 to 2001
- English, Hausa
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes mural painting. My first show was in 1980 at Epe Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Funmilayo: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
