Funmilayo Uba
Master of leatherwork, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Little Lagos Shop
- 2002 to 2020
- English, Spanish
I'm a leatherwork specialist. If you live around Lagos, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Funmilayo
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Funmilayo: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
