Funmilayo Jumoke Kalu
Teacher at Lagos Girls' School, loves accounting

I taught accounting at Lagos Girls' School in Lagos from 1982 to 2010. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Funmilayo
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Funmilayo: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
