Frieda Sabine Braun
Hockey coach, Berlin Youth Club
- 🇩🇪 Berlin, Berlin, Germany
- Berlin Youth Club
- 1985 to 2019
- German
For 34 years I ran the hockey program at Berlin Youth Club in Berlin. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Frieda
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Frieda: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 2016. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Regensburg.
