I taught economics at Cologne Public School in Cologne from 2006 to 2024. Most days I taught Year 7, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 340 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Franziska
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
