I taught religious studies at Lincoln Public School in Cologne from 2000 to 2015. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 660 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
