Frank W. Stanley
French and Spanish teacher, Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Oakland Boys' School
- Since 1999
- English
For 27 years I have been the French teacher at Oakland Boys' School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 680 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Frank
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Frank: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
