I've been a nurse for twelve years, most of them in neonatal care at Hope Maternity Hospital in Richards Bay. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm still learning every day.
