For eight years I've run the softball program at Los Angeles Athletic Club in Los Angeles. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Francisco: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
