Francisco G. Solís
Boxing coach, Coatzacoalcos Sports Club
- 🇲🇽 Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, Mexico
- 1988 to 2022
- Spanish
For 34 years I ran the boxing program at Coatzacoalcos Sports Club in Coatzacoalcos. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Francisco
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Francisco: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 1988. I still hear your voice on the sideline! Greetings from Curitiba.
