Francisco B. Salazar

Youth netball coach and mentor

  • 🇲🇽 Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico
  • Mérida Athletic Club
  • 2008 to 2025
  • Spanish
I coached netball at Mérida Athletic Club from 2008 to 2025. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I fix old bicycles. I'm still learning every day.

More about Francisco

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Francisco: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
