Francisco A. Cabrera
Taught geography at Riverside Public School
- 🇺🇸 Rochester, New York, United States
- Riverside Public School
- 1981 to 2011
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 30 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Francisco
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Francisco: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me geography in 2009 at Riverside Public School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
