Francis K. De Leon
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇵🇭 Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Quezon City Workshop
- 2015 to 2024
- English, Filipino
My trade is painting and decorating. I opened my own shop in 2015 in Quezon City and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Francis: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
