I've coached swimming at Manila Jacaranda Swimming Club since 1984. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Francis
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Francis: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
