Folake Yewande Ogunleye
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, Nigeria
- Epe Workshop
- Since 1985
- English
My trade is painting and decorating. I opened my own shop in 1985 in Epe and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 20 years later for another job.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Folake
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Folake: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
