Folake Lilian Salami
Master of plumbing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Workshop
- 1985 to 2015
- English, Hausa
I've worked in plumbing from 1985 to 2015. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,440 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I fix old bicycles.
What gifts mean to Folake: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
