Folake Ife Okafor
Master of masonry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- The Ikeja Repairs
- 1985 to 2020
- English
I've worked in masonry from 1985 to 2020. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 2,000 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 13 years later for another job.
What gifts mean to Folake: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
