Folake Fashola
Pottery for eight years in Kano
- 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
- Since 2018
- English, Yoruba
I've worked in pottery since 2018. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 370 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
What gifts mean to Folake: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
