Folake Esther Zakari
Master of shoemaking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Since 2017
- English, Yoruba
I'm a shoemaking specialist. If you live around Ikeja, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 11 years later for another job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Folake
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
