Florian Schmidt
Writing mentor, Nuremberg
- 🇩🇪 Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany
- Nuremberg Youth Network
- 1992 to 2020
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 950 people through Nuremberg Youth Network.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Florian
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Florian: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
