For 25 years I have been the music teacher at Dar es Salaam Secondary School. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Florence
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Florence: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

I was in your Grade 6 class in 2001. You believed I could do it before I did!

You taught me music in 2024 at Dar es Salaam Secondary School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard

I failed music twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you. Greetings from Hyderabad.
