Florence Tumusiime
Mentor in entrepreneurship and first-generation students
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Kampala Learning Hub
- 2007 to 2023
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 820 people through Kampala Learning Hub.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Florence
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Florence: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
