Florence Nyambura Ssebuliba

Taught statistics at Dar es Salaam Boys' School

  • 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Dar es Salaam Boys' School
  • 1998 to 2017
  • English, Swahili
For 19 years I was the statistics teacher at Dar es Salaam Boys' School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Florence

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Florence: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
