Florence Esther Mushi
Volunteer mentor with Kingsway Youth Network
- 🇰🇪 Mombasa, Mombasa, Kenya
- Kingsway Youth Network
- 1994 to 2004
- English, Swahili
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 550 people through Kingsway Youth Network.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Florence
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Florence: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
