Florence Chebet Kiprop
Local painting and decorating and auto repair
- 🇰🇪 Thika, Kiambu, Kenya
- Old Thika Workshop
- Since 2003
- English, Swahili
My trade is painting and decorating. I opened my own shop in 2003 in Thika and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I walk the dog by the river.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Florence
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Florence: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
