I taught art and computer science at Rio de Janeiro Middle School, Rio de Janeiro. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Flávio
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Flávio: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
