Fitzroy D. Gayle
Self-taught calligraphy artist
- 🇯🇲 Spanish Town, Saint Catherine, Jamaica
- Hope Art Collective
- 1994 to 2014
- English
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 1994 at Hope Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the changing seasons. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Fitzroy
I've had 3 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
