I taught geography at Jakarta High School in Jakarta from 1980 to 2013. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I learned every name in the first week.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I learned every name in the first week.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Fitria
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Fitria: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your Grade 11 class in 1991. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Mannheim.
