Festus Samuel Anyanwu
Self-taught oil painting artist
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Little Ikeja Print Workshop
- Since 1990
- English, Yoruba
I'm a oil painting artist based in Ikeja. I've been making things since 1990 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
Most of my work is inspired by the people on my bus route. I'm always reading two books at once.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Festus
I've had 8 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Festus: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
