Festus Henry Lawal

Painter, potter and teacher at Silverlake Pottery

  • 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Silverlake Pottery
  • 2014 to 2022
  • English, Yoruba
I work mostly in glass art, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 2014 at Silverlake Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by old photographs. I'm always reading two books at once.

More about Festus

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
