Festus Gbenga Chukwu

Master of shoemaking, now teaching apprentices

  • 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Lagos Works
  • Since 2014
  • English
My trade is shoemaking. I opened my own shop in 2014 in Lagos and I'm still there most mornings. Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
What gifts mean to Festus: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
