Fernando W. Valdez
Volunteer mentor with Greensboro Foundation
- 🇺🇸 Greensboro, North Carolina, United States
- Since 1991
- English, Spanish, French
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,440 people through Greensboro Foundation.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Fernando: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
