Youth hockey coach and mentor

I coached hockey at El Paso Silverlake Swimming Club from 1989 to 2009. Most of my players were between 10 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Fernando
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Fernando: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
