Fernando P. Valdez
38 years teaching geography in Buenos Aires
- 🇦🇷 Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina
- Buenos Aires Girls' School
- 1996 to 2017
- English
I taught geography at Buenos Aires Girls' School in Buenos Aires from 1996 to 2017. Most days I taught primary school children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I ran the drama society after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Fernando
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Fernando: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
