Fernando P. Jiménez
Master of shoemaking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Rosewood Trades Guild
- 1985 to 2013
- English
I've worked in shoemaking from 1985 to 2013. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,180 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
More about Fernando
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
