Thatching, done properly
- 🇵🇭 Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines
- Little Rosewood Repairs
- 2014 to 2024
- English, Filipino
I've worked in thatching from 2014 to 2024. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 550 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Fernando
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Fernando: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
