Fernando H. Mercado
Volleyball and fitness coach, Makati
- 🇵🇭 Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Makati Football Club
- 2018 to 2025
- English, Filipino
For eight years I ran the volleyball program at Makati Football Club in Makati. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Fernando
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Fernando: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
